Elegant Summer Wedding at The Bibb Mill

Something told me that when Natalia reached out to me about her big day that we’d have the time of our lives, and let me tell you, The Scott’s summer wedding day did not disappoint!

I had the honor to capture Natalia and Cole’s engagement photos earlier in the year and when we met then, I was already so antsy for their wedding in Columbus, Georiga! Natalia and Cole are the kind of people that make you feel like you’ve known them forever. They are warm and welcoming so kind and it’s plain to see, totalllly in love with each other.

Their wedding took place at The Bibb Mill Event Center in Columbus, Georgia. This place definitely makes my top 5 wedding venues in Georgia. The venue sits right on the Chattahoochee River and has the most gorgeous historic yet charming feel. The courtyard where they had their ceremony made me audibly GASP! The way the ivy wrapped itself around the weathered brick was picture-perfect. The perfect venue for the perfect pair.

If I had to choose a word to describe the Scott’s big day, I think I would have to pick elegance. Natalia wore the most gorgeous trumpet wedding gown and Cole was decked out in his best 007. The champagne bridesmaids' dresses, the greenery that surrounded the venue, and the all white flowers were the icing on the cake.

Though we were met with a HOT HOT HOT summer day, nothing could stand in the way of these two soaking up every minute of their day. Every ounce of their day, from getting ready with the bridesmaids, to Nat and Cole’s intimate first look, to their rager of a dance party (featuring fake mustaches and calling the Dawgs of course) was filled with so much energy and love. Their families and friends love them HARD and it’s so easy to see why. Here’s to a very memorable wedding day and even more memorable friends. Here’s to The Scotts!
