intimate fall wedding at Whitefield Chapel
Savannah, Georgia
Kathryn + Mitchell
Right before the leaves begin to turn shades of amber and gold, a gorgeous and timeless wedding took place in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. The crisp air of late summer was the perfect backdrop for Kathryn + Mitchell’s romantic celebration.
The wedding ceremony was held at Whitfield Chapel, a charming chapel tucked on the property of Bethesda Academy Academy. Kathryn was an absolute vision in her breathtaking gown and Mitchell was looking extra dapper in his dark navy blue tuxedo. Every detail of their day just screamed timeless, chic, and romantic.
The ceremony was simple yet elegant, with beautiful live worship from their closest friends, and heartfelt vows exchanged between the couple. I couldn’t get over how the light perfectly peered in through the windows in the most picturesque way. This ceremony location is definitely high up on my list of Savannah wedding venues after their gorgeous day.
After the ceremony, we took some time to capture portraits on the property of Bethesda, dancing under the mossy oaks, and getting some photos with their vintage getaway car. Afterward, we were off to a beautiful reception at Soho South. The space was decorated with soft florals in shades of navy, ivory, and green, complementing the natural beauty of the surrounding foliage.
As the night went on, the guests hit the dance floor, with the bride and groom leading the way with their first dance as a married couple. The music was a perfect mix of classic love songs and upbeat hits, keeping everyone on their feet and dancing the night away.
K & M ended their night of love with a stunning sparkler exit and rode off to their honeymoon in their classic car with champagne in hand. Everything about my day with Mr. and Mrs. Cox was absolutely beautiful. The weather, the love shared with friends and family - it was truly a night to remember. To Kathryn + Mitchell and a lifetime full of love!
