From the day I first met Liv and Foster, I knew these were my kind ofpeople! Liv first reached out to me because she had been following me on the gram for a while and stalked my work (ahem, biggest compliment EVER!) and asked if I would be willing to travel to Tampa to not only capture her and Foster’s engagement photos but also her wedding day! The only answer I had was HELL YES. We first had the chance to meet at their engagement session, bonding over coffee and LANY. From that day, I just knew in my heart that they would have the most perfect day that was full love nothing but pure joy and FUN, and ooo eee, it did not disappoint.
On August 1, 2022, I had the honor of traveling down to Florida to capture their colorful wedding day at Hotel Haya, a new modern hotel right in the heart of Downtown Tampa. Though August 1st fell on a Monday this year, the date only made sense because Liv + Foster started dating on August 1st and got engaged on August 1st. Now they get to add their wedding day to that list. Literally the sweetest.
Liv sent me a mood board from the moment she inquired with me and I was stoked once I saw it. Like any other little girl, she always dreamed of what she wanted her wedding to be like and watching her dreams come to life this past August was beyond special. My girl had a VISION. I love how Liv wasn’t afraid to use color throughout her big day. Most elements of their day were modern, black and white, and chic but the addition of bold, colorful florals was seriously beyond perfect.
The uniqueness and little details throughout their entire day could leave anyone a little teary-eyed in the best way - like when Foster gifted Liv a necklace she’d been hinting at for years. Everything was absolutely perfect. From Liv’s getting ready photos, to the dress change and flash couples photos, to their big dance party - I couldn’t have pictured a more amazing day for these two angels. I am so honored that I had the opportunity to capture these moments of happiness and love for my two new friends! Here’s to The Clevelands!
