There are very few cities that set my heart on fire like the city that never sleeps. Something about New York City refuels my creativity in the best possible way. It’s already hard to beat spring in New York, but shooting this elopement with Eric + Elisa made it even better.

Perched high above the city, the Top of the Rock’s views are simply unmatched. It’s one of those out-of-body experiences where you feel so small in a world that’s SO big but also so incredibly inspired. We made our way through the busy streets of New York, through Rockefeller Center, and up we went to the observation deck to capture what I like to call PURE MAGIC.

Erica + Elisa’s love is just PALPABLE. The way that these two moved together was so effortless. They were so in sync with one another and lemme tell you, that’s a dream to capture. Even on a busy, touristy, New York City rooftop, it felt like we were the only ones there.

Elisa wore a gorgeous flowy white gown that flew in the wind so we definitely incorporated lots of movement and twirling cause DUH. Eric dawned a sharp black-and-white look that complimented the simplicity of Elisa’s beautiful white gown. The entire elopement was stripped back so that these two were the stars of the show.

I will be dreaming about the New York City Skyline, this couple, and this elopement for a long, LONG time. Praying for more work in the city that inspires me the most because there is so much more beauty to capture there.
