Oh where to even begin with these two cutie pies! I guess it really all starts back when Liv sent me an email back in November of 2021. She told me that she has been following me for a while now and was loving my work and asked if I would be interested in shooting her summer wedding in Tampa the following year! The answer in my heart was an immediate YES (because your girl loves to travel for weddings- duh) and I was so excited to get to know Liv + Foster during their engagement shoot.
We were trying to nail down the best time to shoot their engagement pics since they had a few special spots picked out in the Tampa area that meant a lot to them, and we actually timed it up perfectly so that when my husband and I were on our mini-moon riding rollercoasters in Orlando we could shoot on over to Tampa to meet Liv and Foster! Believe it or not - these pics were taken right at the beginning of February. You gotta love Florida, man!
Liv and Foster wanted something a little more on the urban side for their shoot - which I can totally get behind! My husband and I met L and F at their favorite local coffee shop, King’s State! I always love when I get the chance to just hang out with my couples before we start our shoot. My top priority is getting to know you and your love story so we can make your photos that much more special and personal. When Liv showed up in her sparkly dress and boots, I already knew that THESE WERE MY PEOPLE!
After chatting over coffee and Drake - King’s State is now my fave coffee shop BTW - we started their session right outside of this special spot. Foster actually used to work there and they’ve shared so many special memories at this local coffee shop so it was only fitting that we incorporated it into their engagement photos. The second half of their session was spent in the heart of the city! We roamed around the streets of Tampa and eventually landed on top of a parking garage just in time for some killer sunset photos. Watching these two during their city engagement session got me BEYOND excited for their wedding this summer. The way they love each other and radiate such joy is unreal! S
