Elegant Spring Wedding at Hewitt Oaks

The Knowles are what I like to call a dream come true. From the moment we connected at their engagement session in Savannah, I just knew I was in for an absolute treat come their wedding day.

The Knowles’ gorgeous wedding day took place at one of my favorite venues in South Carolina - Hewitt Oaks. The entire property is a photographer's DREAM with so many gorgeous nooks and crannies for photos. The hanging oaks, large fields, and perfectly curated spaces were just the start of this amazing day.

From the moment I pulled into Hewitt Oaks, I could just TELL that the day was going to be the kind of day I’d want to revisit over and over again. Kath and her gals were hanging at the bridal cottage and TJ and his guys were at the groom’s suite enjoying some pre-first look drinks. The energy of the day felt LIGHT and fun - just like Kath + TJ!

As the day went on and we captured their highly-anticipated first look under the gorgeous oaks, teary-eyed ceremony at The Promise Tree, and of course their fun reception, it felt like watching your favorite romance novel unfold in real-time. Their simplistic details - like the terracotta bridesmaid’s dresses, all-white florals, and tons of candles just added the perfect touch to their charming low-country wedding day.

My all-time favorite thing about their wedding day had to be watching these two truly ENJOY themselves. There wasn’t a single moment where they weren’t living in their big day. Even when we were taking their bride and groom portraits, the two made every second unashamedly THEM, and gosh what a JOY that is to capture.

Kath + TJ truly soaked up every ounce of their wedding day and didn’t take a single moment for granted. I couldn't help but feel grateful to have been a small part of such a special day with family and friends coming from near and far. The Knowles’ wedding was more than just a gorgeous event; it was a reminder to stay present and love like CRAZY!
