There's something undeniably magical about an elopement, especially in the heart of one of my favorite cities in the world! And when it comes to an elopement location, Central Park in NYC easily tops the list. Picture this: the most beautiful simplistic bouquet, a bride in a stunning puff sleeve wedding dress, and the iconic Bethesda Terrace as the backdrop - the picture-perfect summer elopement, huh?

My afternoon with Michelle and Jorge was like a scene out of a movie! We met at one of Central Park’s most iconic locations, Bethesda Terrace. It felt like this landmark immediately took us out of the hustle and bustle of NYC and transported us to a small European city. The Arches, the tile, the carvings - it kind of goes without saying why this iconic location is a NYC elopement staple.

Michelle showed up in a stunning puff-sleeve wedding dress with the sweetest floral appliques that SCREAMED vintage in the absolute best way. The way that the gown tied into our location was drool-worthy. It was the perfect nod to the classic elegance of the terrace! Jorge complimented Michelle’s timeless bridal look with a midnight blue suit, sans-tie. The two’s outfit choices couldn’t have been more dreamy.

The light this day in Central Park was on our side and we were able to capture some beautiful editorial-style photos all around Bethesda Terrace and the grand staircases. The way that M & J were so in sync with one another just made these photos that much sweeter. This afternoon with these two will definitely be on rinse and repeat for a while over here.
